What is Cofc?

The purpose of PPAP is to ensure that products are manufactured and supplied to the correct quality, to the appropriate drawings, master sample and or specifications. Products that have been manufactured and supplied according to PPAP, and that pass Q6 inspection, qualify for a batch controlled Terrafirma CofC. This guide outlines each stage of the PPAP process:

01 Supplier Audit

Manufacturers and Suppliers are audited to ensure they are capable of conforming to the PPAP Process

02 Manufacturing Process Flow

Manufacturers and Suppliers are audited to ensure they are capable of conforming to the PPAP Process

03 Sample Approval

Drawings, material specifications and prototypes are inspected and tested to prove the product is fit for service

04 Packaging Specification

Packing material, kit contents and fitting instructions. Making sure the customer receives what they need in perfect condition.

05 Part Submmision Warrant

Final sign off that all parts of the PPAP process have been followed during manufacturing.

06 Stock Quality Control

A thorough and detailed quality check is carried out on every delivery to ensure the PPAP process has been followed on every batch. Critical information is recorded for traceability purposes.

07 Certificate of Conformance

The ultimate statement of quality, a Certificate of Conformance guarantees every batch of products is manufactured to specification and satisfies international transport authorities.
